EXPOSITION — LDKS

Basic Leadership Training (abbreviated as LDK) or Basic Student Leadership Training (abbreviated as LDKS) or Basic Organizational Leadership Training (abbreviated as LDKO) is basic training on all matters relating to leadership. The basic training provided aims to provide leadership supplies to all students who will later become leaders of all OSIS units in the school concerned. LDKO usually lasts for approximately 3 to 5 days.

The more complete purposes are:

1. Through LDKS, students are expected to have the characteristics of a leader who has intellectual, creativity and reasoning that is useful for religion and the homeland of the Indonesian nation.

2. Through LDKS the students are expected to be more courageous and play an active role by appearing to voice their aspirations.

3. Have better organizational skills and understanding

LDK is usually given in 2 parts, namely Physical LDK and Mental LDK. The material providers are no longer the old Student Council Management but the Board of Teachers, Student Council Supervisors, Principals or it could also be by hiring some Trainers from the TNI (Indonesian National Army). For Physical LDK in general, the material provided is largely in the form of PBB / Marching Training and for Mental LDK usually by means of outbound implementation (night caraka, or other natural activities).

The implementation of LDKS / LDK / LDKO is very useful for students for the future, it can make ourselves more disciplined, broaden our horizons, strengthen mentally, and have a better person than before. During the LDKS/LDKO/LDK implementation, students are not allowed to use cellphones or other gadgets, this can make students closer to nature and more focused on each activity.

UN training activities, outbound, 'caraka malam' can train our mental and physical strength. Starting from the UN training, it can make students more alert and so that during the ceremony the rows can be tidier. For outbound and 'caraka malam' can increase the physical and mental strength of students, because in its implementation it takes courage and also a strong physique to be carried out smoothly.
